Amy Ryan, L.C.S.W.

Amy Ryan is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey since 2002. Ms. Ryan has experience working with diverse populations. Prior to joining Bridge Mental Health, Ms. Ryan worked at Bonnie Brae Residential Treatment Center, where she worked with adolescent boys and their families. She received intensive group training to address issues such as substance abuse, sexual offenses, victims of abuse, and emotional/behavioral problems. Ms. Ryan provided Family Structural Therapy under the supervision of Emma Gemajovich of the Minuchin Institute. In addition, Ms. Ryan worked at a local community mental health center providing psychosocial assessments, individual counseling, and group therapy to address stress, homelessness, trauma, depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, and substance abuse.

Ms. Ryan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in psychology at Rowan University, N.J., and her Master of Social Work degree at Rutgers University, N.J. Ms. Ryan’s passion is empowering those who are having difficulty reaching their full potential in life. Her “down to earth,” caring demeanor, along with some humor, creates a comfortable environment for clients to reflect on their lives and acknowledge their strengths in order to reach their goals. Ms. Ryan is honored and enthused to be a part of Bridge Mental Health, and is consistently dedicated to assisting others!
